Coping With The Stress Of An Online Home Business

Sunday, April 24th, 2011

Are you thinking of making some extra capital on the internet? You certainly would not be the only one. Millions of individuals are turning to the Internet to discover ways of making an extra income from the comfort of their own homes and some are even hoping to be able to give up their day jobs and work online full-time.

There is no place like the Internet. No country can offer the same entry to a global market for such little cost as the Internet. Being online, can cost less than a dollar an hour and for that dollar you can have access to hundreds of millions of people through their computers.. That is access to several tens of millions of people per cent of outlay.

That makes an Internet-based business the most cost-effective in the world and it permits you to work from a laptop or cyber cafe anywhere in the world. The one thing that working online cannot do for you though is stop the stress that builds up from owning any business. Therefore, how can you reduce the stresses of running an online business? I do not mean financial stress or delivery problems, they are common to all business set-ups.

Changes take place very rapidly on the Internet. A new style or method of doing things can take place within a week or even less, whereas it may take months or even years in a land-based company. This means that you have to devote some time every week to keeping up with ‘current affairs’.

The easiest way of doing this is to subscribe to a few forums. Join say two forums that are relevant to the industry that you are in and one general ‘techie’ forum. That way, you will always be aware of the latest developments and cannot be caught sleeping.

The Internet can be pretty flimsy, when you think about it. You might spend years building a couple of hundred websites, but if you host goes down, so do you, unless you are ready. In 2009, that happened to me twice, so it is not that uncommon. It is very easy for someone to set himself up as a web space reseller, but if he stops paying his bills, he can take hundreds of website owners off line with him and you may not even know it for a few days.

There are several precautions that you should take to dispel the stress of going out of online business over night through no fault of your own.

Take regular, very regular backups and do not put all your backups on the same medium. I backup everything every time I modify anything. One day the backup goes to a CD and the next day it goes to a portable hard drive. If I had a large enough flash drive the third day would go there. That way, you can never lose more than two day’s work, and believe me, that is sickening enough.

Sign all your websites up to a ‘pinging’ service. These services check to see whether your web site is on or off line several times a day robotically and tell you if they are down. You can get this free, but otherwise it costs just pennies per site per month.

Have a second host ready. You can get a year’s hosting for a $60 or a few dollars a month. Have your account open and ready and you could even load your websites on to it, so that if disaster strikes, you only have to modify the name servers and you are off again.

Chronic Tension Headaches - What Can I Do?

Sunday, September 26th, 2010

There are so many sorts of headache and headaches are so common, that there is a very good chance that everyone you know has had them or still gets them. The reasons why people have headaches are just as wide-ranging. It could be stress, over-medication, migraine, lack of calories or tension. One of the worst kinds is chronic tension headaches.

A normal tension headache feels as if a strap is being done up tightly around your forehead, but they do not have a tendency to last very long and they are few and far between. A chronic tension headache is the same, but it may come every day or even several times a day. A headache is classed as a chronic tension headache if you get a tension headache more than fifteen times in a month for several consecutive months.

Therefore, if you suspect that you are suffering from this type of headache, start to write notes in a diary. When? Where? How bad? How long it lasted? And anything else that you think may be relevant, like what you have eaten or drunken that day and the day before. You may notice a connection to work or diet.

Some sufferers explain the pain as like having a very tight strap wrapped around their head, others say the sensation of constriction goes down as far as their shoulders. In general, sufferers of tension and chronic tension headaches agree, that the pain is strongest in the forehead, then along the sides of the head and sometimes at the back too.

They say that the normal level of pain is a dull ache which can be mild to moderate in intensity. It is more of a nagging, always-on pain than a sharp, distracting pain.

Chronic tension headaches appear to be early risers, that is, some people wake up with them and others say that they begin just after they get up in the morning. It is as if the contemplation of the day ahead is almost too much too bear. The pain can intensify at certain periods of the day, or it can simply slowly slip away practically unobserved.

Chronic tension headaches are nowhere near as common as standard tension headaches, but they are twice as common in women as in men.

The main issue with these headaches, besides the pain itself, is that they become a routine event. You wait for it to happen, you are that sure that it will accompany you throughout the day as normal. The pain can just become one continuous drag on your life.

For this reason, sufferers of CTH are often vulnerable to depression and anxiety and it is hard to know which came first, the CTH or the depression / anxiety and which is causing which. If you think this could be your problem, do not try to treat the headaches yourself, go to see a doctor about the depression or anxiety, have that sorted out and the chronic tension headaches may disappear too without any additional medication.

What Anger Management Technique Is There?

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

Dealing with anger is seldom easy, since people are always facing problems and reasons for conflict. Nevertheless our anger management technique is vital We have to deal with price increases, arguments, war, violence, crime, everyday common stupidity and continuous interruptions. There is not one single person in this sometimes problematic world that has not gotten quite mad at some time or another.

Anger is an emotion we all have to deal with. Anger comes in many forms, but the root of anger is hatred or frustration as a result of a previous deception or disappointment, which boils down to poor anger management technique. This is true. But, true or not, even in the Bible it says that when the first man and woman were created on the earth, the first noted problem was when the Devil, in the form of a serpent, lied, deceiving Eve. Once the lie became apparent, the world began suffering many problems, including violence, murder, war, shortages, disease, weather disasters and so forth.

Ever since that first lie, the world has become more and more chaotic and continues to worsen as the years roll by. We can examine how a lie can instigate anger by looking at an individual case. A person engaged in criminal activities, such as stealing, writing bad checks, and selling prescription medications. Now this person felt she had to use deception, since she felt that her behaviour and actions were her only means of survival.

So, she started lying to cover up her crimes. As the years went by, she became angry and could not cope, simply as a result of her under-developed anger management technique, the way she was behaving, her way of thinking, and the rest. She began to act as anyone else suffering from uncontrolled anger would act.

This included, undermining others, insulting others, verbally and physically assaulting, threatening, belittling, mocking, et cetera. The woman was diagnosed with mental illness, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Bipolar. She also had health issues, including diabetes. Now, if we look at all the aspects of that person’s anger and anger management technique, we can see, if we search deep enough, that her lying, which caused paranoia, was the basic reason for her behavioral problems.

Many people have a problem with anger management technique. Many of the people with post traumatic stress disorder act angrily reacting to a flashback in memory. This is right! Persons with post traumatic stress disorder often suppress their emotions. When they are violent or angered it is often because they are fighting the source that caused their trauma and not the person in their present vicinity.

But the problem is that, we do not see this as the cause for the woman’s fury, since she did not make the problem public knowledge. Therefore, people would not think of post traumatic stress disorder as the cause, or at least lessen the possibility of it. So, now let’s take a look at diabetes, since this illness affects the nerves. The shortage of insulin creates other problems too, but many people with diabetes will become upset for little or no reason whatsoever.

However, most people do not act angrily, assault, insult or attack others . If we look at why crimes are committed, we see that very often, serious behavioural problems come from having told lies. Therefore, when we look at this woman’s case again, we can see that we have to deal with the underlying causes that is her lying and get her to move forward, avoiding episodes of frustration, anxiety and anger by using some form of anger management technique.

However, this person is in denial, which means that until the legal system forces her to study anger management technique, she probably will not get help herself. Furthermore, even if the criminal justice system does insist she gets assistance, it probably won’t work, because her denial has existed for probably many years. So, now we are dealing with a real problem in anger management technique , since her behaviour is life long, which means extensive therapy isneeded.

Anger is an emotion, but when it interferes with another persons life, it is a serious problem. This person is not hurting only one person, she is hurting everyone, since when she steals or writes bad checks, society pays with tax increases, as well as other increases. One of the biggest problems I have noticed with this type of person, is that the system and society will allow it to continue; only addressing it when the person is caught. Once the person is released then it continues again. This is a chain of events involving lack of control due to anger mis-management and bad anger management technique.

Professional Wart Removal

Monday, April 19th, 2010

When it comes to wart removal, many people make the decision to remove their warts themselves, which is frequently done at home. While a large number of individuals would rather remove their own warts in their own home, not everyone is pleased with the idea. It is important that you examine all of your choices when dealing with wart removal, including the advantages and disadvantages of each. If you are leaning more towards having your warts removed by a professional, you are urged to examine the pros and cons of doing so.

Perhaps, the greatest advantage of having your warts professionally removed, usually at a doctor’s office, is the fact that it is being done professionally. Almost all doctors, including dermatologists and primary care physicians, have experience with wart removal. This means that you do not, in most cases, have to worry about complications arising, complications that could arise if you choose to remove your own warts at home.

Besides having your warts professionally removed, you will also find that you are given professional after-care and specialist advice. After having a wart removed, it is important that you take good care of your skin until it is completely healed. This could include keeping it covered up or regularly applying antibiotic cream. When you go to your primary care physician or a dermatologist, you should be given a detailed set of directions. In fact, your doctor or dermatologist may even provide free applications, such as special skincare cream or bandage.

When thinking about resolving any health issue, including warts, people are always urged to see a doctor. That is why many individuals erroneously believe that there are no disadvantages to having their warts removed by a doctor. The reality is that there are a few disadvantages, despite the many advantages. Unfortunately, these disadvantages may discourage you from seeking professional help, when it comes to having one or more of your warts taken away.

One of the few disadvantages of professional wart removal is the cost of it. The cost is usually higher with a dermatologist, compared to a normal primary care physician. However, despite the high cost of professional wart removal, you could want to undergo such a professional removal. If you have health insurance, you are advised to consult your policy. A lot of health insurance plans in the United States cover warts that have to be professionally removed. If you do not have health insurance, you are urged to consult your doctor. A lot of primary care physicians and dermatologists will let you establish a payment plan, thus making wart professional removal achievable.

Another disadvantage to having your wart removed professionally is one that really shouldn’t even be a problem, but it is for some. A larger number of people, maybe you too, are concerned about the appearance of their warts, despite the fact that warts are harmless. Many individuals do not want others to know that they have them. That is why a lot of people make the decision to perform their own wart removal procedures. Naturally, it is up to you, but it is important to remember that doctors are used to seeing warts. You should not be afraid of showing your doctor your warts. Not only can they remove them for you professionally, but they can also reassure you that warts are common and nothing to be embarrassed about.

When deciding whether or not professional wart removal is in your best interest, you are urged to bear the afore-mentioned advantages and disadvantages in mind. If you are not interested in visiting your local doctor or dermatologist, do not worry, you still have a variety of different options. So, if professional wart removal is not for you, perhaps you should begin examining your other options.

Anger Management and Spousal Violence.

Sunday, December 20th, 2009

How is anger management connected to domestic violence? Well, put simply, most people that abuse their spouse in this type of situation, get angry due to some anti-social disorder in their subconscious mind. Anger is one of the leading symptoms of personality disorder, which include paranoia, schizophrenia, schizoid, antisocial, psychopathic, histrionic and sociopathic personalities.

Most of the people that are abusive in relationships have antisocial personalities. The antisocial personality type often attacks when he or she is drunk or under the influence of some other drug. This is not true in all instances of course, but it is true in most. Antisocial personality types often disregard rules and regulations and often feel they are allowed to do so. Antisocial personality types are controlling and if you do not conform to their authority, they often vent their anger in a controlling or violent manner.

Anti-social personality types will humiliate, intimidate, brutally physically abuse and mentally belittle, but anger and domestic abuse doesn’t stop there. This type of individual has never been proven a good candidate for anger management. In other words, men that batter their wives will most likely continue to do so until someone gets seriously injured. It is not wise to engage with these types, as there is rarely any hope of recovery. This type will often beat a person, until death becomes the focus. This means someone could die, since this sort of person will become angrier through the years and will rarely ask for help in anger management for domestic violence.

Even if he or she does get anger management help for domestic violence, it very often fails. It is not recommended that you start a relationship with this sort of person. The signs are a wild appearance or wild expressions, laughing for no apparent purpose, laughing at a situation where a person was humiliated, outbursts of anger for no reason et cetera. This type of person is superficial and will often lead you to believe that he or she is a model for society, whereas behind closed doors the brute appears.

Of course, hate is the underlying cause of this person’s anger, and hate has been proven to kill. Often deep-seated jealousy also underlies the anger issues within these types of people. Many of these angry people take drugs, like cocaine, crack, marijuana and others. They often exceed the safety limit of alcohol consumption and this only increases the chances of them flying into a rage.

An example of bad anger management and domestic violence can be seen in a small town called Dowagiac in Michigan, where a man attempted to kill several women but was still allowed to go free. Little anger management help was provided to this man and often his outrageous attacks were simply because he felt that he could not control his partners. The victims were left without justice and a few even believed that they could change his angry ways.

Pretty soon, he was sitting in the county gaol on a string of charges, including assault of a police officer and hit and run. The police, according to witnesses, claim that the criminal had had a weapon and was drunk when he fled in order to elude the police and marijuana was found in his vehicle. This person had a continuous history of brutality but the justice system let those victims down, which led to more anger management problems.

Another example of anger is in borderline personality types. These people when feeling abandoned will attack others. Sometimes they are physically abusive, while most of the time they are verbally and mentally abusive. All the spouse has to do is go to work and when he or she returns home, most likely she or he will be accused of something.

The abusive person with anger management problems might even call the workplace of the spouse numerous times to verify that he or she is not spending time with someone else. This is another type of domestic violence from an angry person that seldom gets better, and like the anti-social personality types, these people are dangerous and manipulative.

Paranoid personality types are also dangerous and manipulative but their anger is almost impossible to predict. In most cases, these types react to voices heard inside or outside their head. Like the antisocial types, the paranoid type does not usually has justifiable reason for their behaviour. Usually, it is merely a control issue. This means that if the victim is uncontrollable, the paranoid person will react angrily and violently.

Anger Management Movies

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

Because anger management is a massive problem in society today, there have been many programs developed, books written, Internet websites created and anger management movies filmed. Although all of this help is in place and available for anyone, not all people with anger issues can benefit from the same type of resource. Some people get assistance attending an anger management programme - it may be effective and cause major changes in their behaviour.

Being able to steal away alone with a book may be helpful to a person with anger issues. Seeing their problems in print and being able to sort through them in their mind might be a great anger management resource. The Internet is a great resource regarding anger management and some may find it helpful to view the different sites and read stories about individuals with anger management issues. However for many people who have difficulties controlling their anger, watching an anger management movie might be what it takes to break them out of their pattern of angry, emotional outbursts.

Watching an anger management film would give the individual the opportunity to see, with their very own eyes and hear with their very own ears, just what anger does to a person and those around them. An anger management video should give illustrations and situations where individuals act on their anger. The film may apply exactly to an individual’s current situation. It may strike home - so to speak. Watching the actors play out plot and their behaviour may be an eye-opener. It may take watching a husband beating a child or wife, a mother attacking her child, a child bullying another kid, to understand that anger is a significant problem to them.

When an angry person is in that situation- ie really angry, he is likely to blame it on whoever gets in the way. But being an actor in his own picture, he is incapable of watching his own performance. However, if they given the chance to see it on the silver screen, he might be surprised and even devastated by his actions. Watching an anger management film would probably be like watching yourself in a similar situation. This may be the method that works best for some people.

An anger management film will not only give illustrations of actual scenes involving anger. The film will probably provide information about anger management techniques. Using these techniques and the characters in the film, it is likely that there would be scenes of people being introduced to anger management methods and programs.

The film would explain the steps to dealing with anger and frustration issues. This type of anger management movie might be the answer to many people’s problems. It would seem a good idea if the anger management movie showed the person, in the same situation as the sufferer, change from the first scene in the film to the last scene. Showing how the individual was able to receive help through anger management and turn his life around, could just be the incentive he needed.

There is no doubt that, there are all sorts of anger management picture available in the shops. The Internet is also a fantastic source of information regarding anger management and anger management resources like as books and anger management films. If you think you or someone you know would benefit from watching an anger management movie, it would be a good idea to get your hands on one.

An Insight into Anger Management Skills

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

Many scientists, so-called experts, philosophers and the rest, tell us about anger and anger management skills, but do they really give you the inside story? There are people all over the world with anger issues, some mild, some extreme and some within the normal boundaries of the emotion of anger.

We hear about all the problems of anger, which include kicking, fighting, slapping, verbally abusing, physically abusing and mentally abusing. We hear reports from around the world about the many episodes related to violence in the criminal world. Finally, we hear many reports about how to deal with anger using anger management skills.

However, anger is an emotion that acts on impulses. Anger is a good thing, until it becomes uncontrollable. This happens when a person feels discontented and reacts to the impulses of his or her emotions radically. However, there are some persons who get angry as a direct result of putting things off.

You can see it in an example with a person that gets angry with a cable company. Let’s say that this person has been dealing for more than three months with issues involving a cable company, herself and another party. This person was paying a bill which included channels ordered by another person, but the company refused to give her the selection of channels that she had ordered in her own right.

She went through a series of processes, and finally, after she had done as instructed, the company advised her that she would have to pay for what had already gone on. So, she would have to pay for all the channels on the bill, only some of which she had ordered. Now, she was in no position to do much about it since she did not live at that address. Finally, she blew her top and told the company off, walking quickly out the front door, mumbling you stupid bloody idiots.

This person was pushed to anger and this happens too many times in society these days, yet the world only sees the angry persons. We can look at other theories about anger and anger management skills, and see that the blanks are not filled in. When a person has an anger issue, he or she does not necessarily have that problem everyday. Rather, in most cases the person builds up to the point of going out of control.

Often someone will go for a week, month, or even longer before they break out in anger. If this person has a mental illness, alcohol or drug problems, it contributes to the anger issues, however in many cases people does not get that angry every day.

So, we can see that not only do we need to learn anger management skills to contain anger; we also must teach people to deal with each problem as it happens. Procrastination comes in many forms and it includes putting off emotional issues until they are too hot to handle. Many violent people often have a dangerous mental illness underlying their anger. Many people that are angry because of procrastination have a degree of control, and it usually does not lead to anger.

However if a person is pushed hard enough this may occur. Anger is involved with the process of expressing emotions, however when a person is angry they may have difficulty relating to the underlying reason for the anger, which means that they may have very poor anger management skills.

Learning History At Home Schooling

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Do you think that passing time in traditional classrooms is a waste of time? For some people, that is probably true. For instance, an exam is due and the pupils are asked to memorize a lot of dates and names. However, after taking the exam, they will probably forget 90% of those dates and names. That’s what most students do every time they have tests. If you are one of these people, you will find traditional history lessons boring, so home schooling, which concentrates more on the history of the world, will probably interest you more.

Simple memorization is not enough to realize the importance of famous people and important events. Through home schooling in history, you can learn about the different cultures of the past in a different, but interesting way - your own way! Through the study of history, you will also understand what is happening in the world today.

If you think that home schooling is the most effective option for your child’s learning, you should also be prepared to take on some responsibilities. Since there will be no teacher physically present, you will have to oversee your child’s educational progress yourself.

Let’s just suppose that your child is interested in a particular sport. Through combining history and home schooling, you could start by just putting a map on the wall of your child’s schoolroom and mark the location of his favourite sports team. Make sure that you track all the team’s activities and schedules. Then, you could return to history lessons by reading biographies of the different athletes, who had been famous in the particular sport that your child enjoys. Aside from that, you could also examine the history of that particular sport and discover where it started, its inventor, and the other things happening at that particular time in history.

For example, let’s say your child follows baseball, you can teach your child about the history baseball, government hearings on the use of steroids and other favourite pastimes at that period of time. Just remember that you can apply this concept to any interest like dancing, flight, cars or any invention. You can also have conversations with your child about current affairs or read interesting historical documents and other books. Aside from that, you could also watch documentaries together with the rest of the family. There are various resources that you can use in home schooling, such as TV, maps, newspapers, books, a globe, an atlas, and encyclopedias. Due of the exciting adventures that you and your child will read about and see on film, he/she will find it easier to remember the names and dates of the history lessons. After all, education is better when it is done in an interesting way.

These methods are advisable for when your child is still young, but when your child gets older, you should choose a home schooling program that is suitable for his/her particular age group. The programs are pitched at the elementary, high school, and even college levels. You simply have to search the Internet for these various programs. One advantage of these programs is that you can adapt them to fit the needs of your child. However, you must make sure that all the lessons are learned by your child.

After you and your child have decided to give home schooling a shot, you will have to be ready to make some changes to your lifestyle. The educational will now take place in your home not at a remote school and through the various resources that you want to use, which should include a computer and the Internet.
