Why You Should Marry a Clairvoyant

Saturday, December 17th, 2011

If you have ever wondered what exactly a Clairvoyant is and what they can really do then you want to read this article. We will discuss what an actual Clairvoyant really is and what they can do and we will dispel any false myths about the term.

The term Clairvoyant actually comes from the French. It means clear vision. A Clairvoyant is someone who can see or knows things other people can’t using a sixth sense or E.S.P.

Nowadays the term Clairvoyant can cover someone with a lot of different psychic skills. They may get their information through other senses besides sight. Some may hear spirit speaking to them. Some may get general impressions including touch, taste, and smell.

Some Clairvoyants use objects such as tarot cards or runes or other devices to help them in their work. However there are now more and more people who claim a direct connection to spirit and claim not to need any extra devices to help them deliver readings. Gone are the days of the crystal balls and eye of newt.

There have been some really good books and a movie or two on the clairvoyant skill of remote viewing. This is where Clairvoyants can see far away people and places without ever leaving their room. Believe it or not there have been documented cases of people being able to do this.

Of course we have all heard about people who could “See The Future”. What we know now is that each person has an infinite number of possible futures based on the day by day actions that they decide to take. In other words a clairvoyant can only tell you one possible future based on your current and probable future actions. Does that make sense?

If you have ever seen one of those shows about clairvoyants that help police investigate missing people you have seen Psychometry in action. The ability to read energy fields that surround objects. This seems to create a link to the missing person who owned the object.

While there does appear to be a huge amount fraudulent people claiming to be clairvoyant in order to take advantage of their fellow man we are now seeing more and more people who do seem to possess this and many other skills previously thought to be fantasy. There are many courses that can now be found that teach clairvoyant skills so try them out, have some fun, and see if maybe you are a Clairvoyant!

Don’t click on this link until It’s time to change your reality Right Today! Come see us at the Become A Clairvoyant website for more free information on increasing your psychic abilities and living your reality to the fullest. It’s time to take the next step so do it Today!

What Does It Take To Succeed In A World Of Faith?

Tuesday, October 18th, 2011

With the world’s economy in the tank, companies bankrupt, ,homes undergoing foreclosure proceedings and millions of people out of work with no end in sight, success becomes an interesting, if abstract, concept. Whatever could be out there waiting for you in the form of success? If there is something there, what are the barriers between you and achieving success?

Living in a World of Faith

There is one answer to the question, “What does it take to succeed” spoken by Bishop E. Bernard Jordan that may be worth musing over. His answer is we must be able to live between the world of fact and the world of faith.

We all live among oceans of facts. Some things get done, some don’t. Some things are possible, some not. There is fact and then there is fiction. In the factual world there is only so much one can accomplish.

One of the problems with living with facts that is hard to grasp for many is that our culture considers there to be an algorithm for everything in the natural world… You invest your money, it will grow. You graduate from college; you will land a job paying you a comfortable salary. You spend years and years learning the corporate culture and climbing the ladder to the top echelons of the corporation, and you will reach the pinnacle, but not without sacrifice.

How much should you sacrifice before it is too much? Living in a world of faith doesn’t ask about sacrifice. Living there is about how you can achieve success while enjoying what is valuable to you in your life. It is about things that bear no price tag like spending time with loved ones and having the time to watch your kids grow instead of spending all that time in a small, grey cubicle on the 8th floor.

With faith, the obstacle standing between you and every ounce of the life you want to live is your imagination and your belief that you can make it happen.

“Life is full of tough decisions,” states Jordan. “Some people go through life pleased that the glass is half full; others spend a lifetime lamenting that it’s half-empty. The truth is there is a glass with a certain volume of liquid in it. From there, it’s up to you! Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.”

Think about it. Are you living totally in a world of facts that are stifling your imagination, or are you freeing your imagination and living in a world of faith in yourself, in success and in your future?

A History Of Stained Glass

Sunday, July 10th, 2011

No one really knows when stained glass was first invented because it happened before people really recorded history. However, some historians reckon that it was first used as an extravagance in the homes of wealthy Romans in the first century AD. Stained glass was eventually acclaimed as an art form in the fourth century as Christians started to worship openly and to construct intricate churches in which to celebrate their religion.

On the other hand, some historians demonstrate that there are signs in pre-Christian ruins that suggest that pagans used stained glass in their rites. Although we will probably never really know the start of stained glass, it is fairly clear that the spread of Christianity is directly related to the spread of use of stained glass.

The Gothic Era commenced in the 12th Century and stained glass windows became an essential element in the design of cathedrals. It really all started with the pioneering style of the St. Denis, France, where stained glass windows were used to convey light into the church itself and into the minds of its worshipers. Sadly, most of the stained glass in the St. Denis Cathedral was destroyed in the course of the French Revolution, but there are a few pieces left and even some complete windows on exhibit in Europe.

Gothic style stained glass was composed of strong lines, but these increasingly went out of fashion as the Renaissance commenced. During the Renaissance, artisans depicted better detail and more delicate colouring in order to add to the realism. Stained glass windows became more like paintings on glass than architectural features and some of the prominent elements such as lead lines disappeared. Because of the problems in expressing the great detail essential to the Renaissance period, the old style, which was original stained glass more or less died out.

In view of the fact that stained glass was used mostly by the Catholic Church, much of the work was destroyed during the reign of King Henry VIII after his split with the Pope. However, not only old stained glass windows were destroyed, but many of the glass making works were destroyed as well. However, religious strife was not the only cause of the decline of stained glass.

The style of the Baroque period was for more detailed murals, which necessitated the use of clear glass. Therefore, many of the remaining stained glass windows were permitted to decay, and furthermore not many new stained glass windows were produced. In the late 17th century, the public mood returned to the Gothic style of architecture, which produced a renewed interest in stained glass windows.

Artisans continued to paint directly onto the glass at first, but later tried to emulate the old leaden frames of medieval times. However, given that the original techniques had not been used for such a long time, they had become forgotten and the artisans of the period were unable to recreate the exact styles prevailing in Gothic stained glass.

During the 19th century, La Farge and Tiffany created new variations of stained glass. La Farge was interested in window designs, while Tiffany went into new areas like the Tiffany lamp shade.

Nowadays, stained glass artists are not limited by religious doctrines, although much of the work they do involves restoration. Modern stained glass is also used as the centre pane in front doors, especially uPVC doors, by rich and poor equally in the West.

Choose Your Wedding Ring Wisely

Saturday, May 21st, 2011

There is a very large number of wedding rings available in the shops these days. In fact, you have the world of wedding rings to pick from. The high street shops in a large town have a pretty good selection, but the Internet lays the best jewellers and the best styles out for your perusal.

So, it is very important that you take your time when choosing one. Maybe the enormous choice of wedding rings makes that more difficult not easier. Diamond wedding rings have been the most popular since ordinary working people could afford them, before that a plain band of gold had to suffice, for people who could afford that much.

Nowadays, Western people have become more adventurous and they are choosing other stones like the stunningly beautiful blue sapphire. Some even deciding not to have a stone at all, going back to tradition, so to speak. However, there are plenty of examples of not so simple bands of gold too.

There is the Irish Claddagh ring with its characteristic two hands holding a crowned heart symbolizing love, friendship and loyalty; and there is the Celtic Knot with its intricately interwoven strands twisting and turning without end, standing for eternity and eternal love despite the twists and turns and difficulties of daily life.

So, choosing a wedding ring is not just a question of picking a beautiful wedding ring, you should be choosing one that says what you want it to say. You could look up on the Internet what the different metals and various stones symbolize traditionally. If you cannot find a ring that says what you want, consider having one made. It is not as expensive as you might think.

Tradition is a good thing when it comes to wedding rings. After all, you want your ring to express your eternal love and devotion for the person you are giving it to and your marriage could last fifty or sixty years, especially with people living longer these days. Hopefully, you will wear this ring for the rest of your life, so select a style that seems timeless to you.

Picking a wedding ring is not as straightforward as it looks, because you are going to be wearing your ring every day for the rest of your life, so it should be something that you will not get tired of in a couple years. You should look at and try on many rings in order to get one that feels comfortable. You will want a ring that does not look out of date in ten years time. The simplest method of doing that is to go for a traditional style, because those styles have already stood the test of time.

One last piece of advice is to ask the jeweller to attest to the total carat weight of the stones in the ring and the weight of each individual stone and the quality and weight of the metal (although it should be hallmarked) on paper, then if it gets lost or stolen you have something to show the insurance company.

The Origins of Aikido

Saturday, April 23rd, 2011

The name ‘Aikido’ is created by the permutation of three characters in the Japanese language. ‘Ai’, which means ‘joining’; ‘ki’, which means ’spirit’ and ‘do’, which signifies ‘way’. These three characters actually sum up the essence of Aikido as a kind of martial art: ‘the joining of the spirit to find the way’. It was only in the period from 1930’s to the 1940’s that the name Aikido was formally accepted as the name of this martial art variety.

Aikido employs techniques that do not fatally harm or kill unlike different types of martial art. The movements and skills being taught are simply intended to distract attention or stop people. This is possibly the reason why most people would rather Aikido, because of its concentration on peace and tranquility as opposed to violence and hostility. In fact, Aikido developer, Morihei Ueshiba, believes that to be in command of aggression without causing any injury is the art of peace.

Ueshiba, who is also called Osensei, which signifies ‘Great Teacher’, developed Aikido from the principles of Daito-ryu aiki-jujutsu. He integrated the ways of the ‘yari’, the spear; the ‘juken’, the bayonet; and the ‘jo’, which is a short quarterstaff. But what finally distinguishes Aikido from other kinds of martial art is the fact that its practitioners can strike while empty-handed. Proponents need no weaponry for their protection.

As a small child, he was much into physical fitness and conditioning. This was because of his vow to avenge his father’s attackers. In due course, his studies and activities brought him to the discipline of the various martial arts. He studied many of them. He even has certificates for fencing, fighting with spears, etc. He has learned it all. This is possibly the explanation why Aikido is such a diverse and multi-disciplinary kind of martial art.

Yet despite his knowledge, he remained discontented. He felt that there was still something lacking. It was then that he turned to the religions. He studied under a religious guide, Onisaburo Deguchi of the sect named Omoto-kyo in Ayabe. Deguchi trained him to take care of his psychic development. He then pooled his spiritual beliefs and his mastery of the different martial arts and Aikido was formed.

His relationship with this fascinating spiritual leader Deguchi also paved the path for his introduction to the elite political and military personnel as a martial artist. Because of this association, he was able to launch Aikido and even pass on his knowledge to students, who have, in turn, developed their own methods and movement in Aikido.

Aikido is a blend of the different styles of jujitsu as well as some of the techniques of sword and spear fighting, of which Ueshiba was an expert. To obtain an general picture, Aikido combines the joint locks and throws of jujitsu and the techniques of the body necessary when fighting with swords and spears.

Oriental in origin, it was brought to the West by Minoru Mochizuki when he visited France in 1951. He introduced the Aikido methods to students who were learning judo. In 1952, Tadashi Abe came to France as the official Aikikai Honbu representative. Then in 1953, Kenji Tomiki toured throughout the United States while Koichi Tohei stayed in Hawaii for a full year where he set up a dojo. Aikido then spread its influence in the United Kingdom two years after and in 1965, it reached Germany and Australia. At present, Aikido has centres all over the world.
