1 Inflation jitters sparked a weak opening, but the main indexes rallied as oil prices eased. The Nasdaq rose 1%, the Dow 0.7% and the S&P 500 0.6%. The NYSE composite, weighed down by energy stocks, edged up 0.1%. Volume fell across the board. Retailers and financials did well. The 10-year Treasury yield fell 4 ticks to 3.91%.
